April 28, 2010

My brother was composing a poem for Language Arts, but he didn't finish writing, so I completed it for him while he's sleeping.
Here's how it goes:
Winter snow fell silently
Our hearts were captured by the scenarios
I could taste the glimpse of love in the air
as each snowflake landed upon my face

I was attracted to you at first glance
and was blinded by your beauty.
I forever wish we could be here,
but time changes everything.

As the snowflakes disappear,
I discovered how looks can be deceiving.
What I once thought was beautiful,
it was nothing more in comparison to other seasons
It becomes spring after the snow melts.
New, colorful flowers bloom everywhere,
which takes over the beauty of winter.
It lingers a smell of a new start.

Bees would produce honey
and pollinates flowers as it travels.
They would drop seeds to sprout more flowers.
Nobody knows how much I love the mist of spring’s shower.
