Shopped at the mall with my friends today. I bought a red romper. Hehe. :] I wanted to drive there, but the only car available was the van. My dad didn't want me to drive it 'cause it's a big car. I don't know, but it feels like there's really nothing to do anymore at the mall. The stores are getting quite boring. The mall is expanding and new stores are being added, but they're not that good. They have a lot of unnecessary and similar stores. Though, it's still a fancy mall compared to some. I don't really go to the mall that often now. First off, there's nothing much I want to buy or absolutely need to have. Second, I don't want to spend that much money. So yea, I spent 'bout two hours at the mall. Later on the night when the small car was available, I went out again. Well, to Walmart which is about 5 minutes away. Bought two packs of cookie mix and brisk. Also bought Mcdoubles from McDonald for my brother. I'm planning to bake cookies for my sister. My mom told me to buy something to eat for dinner since she's not cooking, but I wasn't really craving for anything and I didn't feel like eating out. While I was thinking about what to eat, it was really quiet in the car. Somehow, I liked that silence. That brief moment felt good. I really like driving even though it can be dangerous, but that's what makes it so exciting. Just got to take the risk. The risk of not knowing what's going to happen.
Went to Oceanside beach yesterday ! It was fun. :D It was actually my first time going with friends. We planned on "barbecuing" there, but it was kind of a fail. My friends and I had trouble starting a fire; we used around thirty matches to light up the coals. The cooking process was bleh. We inhaled too much smoke. Whatever. The food was good though. :] Well, we only made hotdogs and burgers. Then more people came and we went to play with the water and sand. The sunset was so beautiful. :] Oh, there was quite a lot of seagulls. One of them took our dropped burger and the rest were fighter for it. Haha. Good thing they didn't poop on us. We didn't get to do the bonfire and s'mores 'cause it was getting late and my friend's mom wanted to go home. Afterward, we went back to my friend's house and had an after party. More people came and we played dance central. Before the others arrived, I played it with my friend and I figured I really suck at it. Oh wells. My mom went to pick my brother up at the mall first and then me. I didn't want to leave yet, so I went home with them first and drove back myself. Second time driving by myself. This time, it was quite scary. I turned off the engine when it was still on reverse, so the car was still moving after it was off. I was like "what the fudge. What's happening?" I tried turning the engine on again, but it wouldn't let me. I thought I broke the car. .___. Took me like a minute or so to figure what happened. That was some experience.

A Day of Excitement and Achievements
Yesterday, I had to wake up at 5am to go to Riverside for Science Olympiad. The day before I was still doubting myself if I should go or not, but I was glad that I went. I didn't compete, but I went there to support my teammates and see if we would win any awards for the sounds of music event that my friends and I made. It was a really long day and I ate a lot of food. :D Even though I didn't compete, I was still nervous for our team. Nervous if they did well, if they will win any medals, if the items we built would be worth the time and effort. But most of all, I was worried about the percussion and flute we built. My friends and I dedicated our time to complete those instruments. About an hour or two before the music event, my two friends that are going to play it weren't even ready. They said they were just going to flow with the music and hopefully pretend to know what they are doing. It was really nerve-wrecking, but after hearing their performance, I thought they did pretty good. :] During the award ceremonies, everyone was all loud and cheerful. My friend thought we weren't going to win anything for sounds of music, but we got SECOND PLACE ! I was really surprised and excited. I mean, when do I rarely ever win a medal for something I take part of building? It was one of the happiest moments, EVER. That feeling of an unexpected achievement made everything paid off. I definitely want to compete next year. It was worth the time and effort. When it was between Great Oak and Etiwanda for who gets first and second place for overall score, WE GOT FIRST ! I really thought we were going to get second since Etiwanda has been getting first place the previous years and that the host was looking our way when he was about to announce second place. Overall, we won over 50 medals and first place for regional !
After we got back home around 7:30pm, one of my friends planned to have an unexpected party at Jasmine's house. I drove by myself for the first time ! It felt good. :D Went there to play some games, but I got tired and went home around 10:30pm. I came home, watched television, and soon fell asleep. It was a really good day. :D

Awkward
I had the most awkward moment today.
I didn't even know what was going on, but it seems like the situation involves me, or at least my friend made it seem that way. I was standing there clueless, while the others were being all secretive. When my girlfriends finally told me what happen, I was thinking "What does this have to do with me?! What's so secretive about it?"
It was really awkward....
